What is UV light disinfection/sterilization?

The light with a wavelength of 10-400 nanometers (nm) in sunlight is called ultraviolet light, and it can be divided into UVA, UVB, and UVC (200nm to 275nm) according to different wavelength bands. Among them, C-band (UVC) ultraviolet rays destroy the DNA of bacteria and viruses and play a key role in disinfection and sterilization of surfaces. According to studies, continuous low doses of ultraviolet C light can kill bacteria & viruses and help disinfect surfaces.
